Jun 23, 2026
A deadly hit-and-run accident on Interstate 35E closed all lanes at Corinth Parkway heading northbound on Tuesday morning from 5 to 8 a.m.
The “automobile vs. pedestrian” accident took place on the 4900 block of the interstate around 3 a.m., according to the Corinth Police Department. Police
are asking witnesses to come forward; they’re also searching for surveillance footage from the area.
Police are not saying anything about the people or cars involved.
Emergency services responded to the scene. Law enforcement blocked off the interstate, and traffic was diverted to the nearest exit.
“Motorists should expect significant traffic delays in the area while officers conduct their investigation,” the Corinth Police Department added. “Please consider using alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.”
