Three people are injured, and all lanes of Interstate 30 are shut down in both directions after a major crash involving an 18-wheeler on Monday morning, police say. According to the Garland Police Department, a sedan and an 18-wheeler collided while traveling westbound on I-30 near Dalrock Road. Police said the crash caused the 18-wheeler to hit the center concrete barrier. The truck’s cargo crossed into the eastbound lanes, where another vehicle collided with debris in the road. The eastbound vehicle was occupied by four individuals, two of whom were children, police said. Three occupants were transported to a local hospital. According to police, significant traffic delays are expected, and drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
