Monday, June 22, marks day 4 of the Wawa Welcome America celebration. Monday’s events include free admission to Lest We Forget Slavery Museum, Founder’s Hall Museum, free movie screenings, and Jefferson Community Day at Philly Fair 250. Read more about these events below: Free Museum Days : Lest We Forget Slavery Museum When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Lest We Forget Slavery Museum, 5501 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144  About: The Lest We Forget Slavery Museum tells the story of how millions of enslaved Africans came to America through an extensive collection of authentic slavery artifacts. Guests can either explore the museum on their own or participate in a 90-minute guided tour. *Pre-registration is required for tour, click here to schedule.  Free Museum Days: Founder’s Hall Museum When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Founder’s Hall Museum, 2101 S. College Ave, Philadelphia PA 19121  About: The Founder’s Hall Museum provides a look inside the life of America’s first multi-millionaire, Stephen Girard, who’s fortune helped to establish Girard College. Their collections include his possessions, as well as civil rights and Philadelphia artifacts from the 20th century and beyond.   Philly Fair 250: Jefferson Community Day When: 2 .p.m. to 8 p.m.  Where: Centennial District, Avenue of the Republic E Memorial Hall Drive  About: Jefferson takes over the Philly Fair 250 with a day full of family-friendly, educational, and interactive activities focused on health, wellness, learning, and connection. Visitors can participate in blood pressure screenings, a Teddy Bear Clinic, therapy dogs, giveaways, and more. Thomas Jefferson University’s mascot Phil the Ram will be making an appearance. Free Movie Days When: Split (2016) at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Where: Philadelphia Film Center, 1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19102  About: The Philadelphia Film Society is offering two-weeks of free movie screenings by and about Philadelphia.
