A 45-year-old man died after a shooting at a park in Philadelphia overnight, police said. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at around 10:04 p.m., officers responded to a radio call reporting a shooting inside the park near the baseball fields along the 3700 block of 2nd Street. When officers got to the scene, they found a 45-year-old man, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel at 10:41 p.m, according to police. Police said the investigation remains ongoing. No arrests have been made.
