As the United States and Iran reach an a preliminary deal with to end their war and possibly easy pressure on global energy markerts, experts say prices on items, including groceries, clothing and gas, will take some time to go down. Experts said shoppers are demanding lower prices, and are start ing to see them – slowly. “I think at the end of the day when people go to vote in November, it’s not gonna be whether or not there’s a deal, it’s really gonna turn on, did prices actually come down?” Former counsel of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee Rosemary Becchi said. Talk of peace in the Middle East is also bringing lower gas price to the Bay Area, where gas prices are now in the $5 a gallon range instead of $6 or $7. In fact, California saw one of the biggest declines over the last week, but as the country’s average price fell below $4 a gallon for the first time since March, GasBuddy, too, says be patient. “Gas stations will start to pass along the drop in the price of oil today in the next 24 hours, but it may take a couple of days.
