Experts said shoppers are demanding lower prices, and are start ing to see them – slowly. “I think at the end of the day when people go to vote in November, it’s not gonna be whether or not there’s a deal, it’s really gonna turn on, did prices actually come down?” Former counsel of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee Rosemary Becchi said. Talk of peace in the Middle East is also bringing lower gas price to the Bay Area, where gas prices are now in the $5 a gallon range instead of $6 or $7.
