A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Thursday at 7:32 a.m. for thunderstorms and heavy rain until 8:30 a.m. for Niagara and Erie counties."At 7:30 a.m., Doppler radar tracked an area of thunderstorms over the Buffalo Metro area, moving northeast at 55 mph," says the weather servi ce.
