Police are investigating a shooting outside Uno Pizzeria in Chester, Delaware County, right near Widener University’s campus. SkyForce10 was over the scene around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, as police blocked off roads near the Uno Pizzeria on Providence Avenue. Officials could be seen lo oking around the area with flashlights. NBC10 has reached out to Chester police and is still waiting for confirmation of details, including how many people were injured and what led up to the shooting. A spokesperson for Widener University released the following statement regarding the investigation: “Widener University is aware of the incident Wednesday night outside the Uno Pizzeria Grill on Providence Avenue in Chester.
