INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Strong to severe storms with all modes of severe weather are possible this evening and into the overnight hours.
WEDNESDAY EVENING/NIGHT:
Numerous storms will move across Central Indi
ana during the evening. These will have the capability of producing damaging/destructive winds, tornadoes (some strong), large hail, and flooding. Be sure to have multiple ways of getting alerts and have your devices fully charged in case you lose power. The risk of severe weather should move to our south by 2 or 3 AM and thereafter. Temperatures will bottom out in the 60s.
THURSDAY:
Variably cloudy skies set up shop. While a few spotty rain showers could develop no big weather is expected, thankfully. Highs should be in the 70s. Westerly winds may become a bit breezy again.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
Fair skies with lows falling back into the 50s to around 60.
FRIDAY:
Partly cloudy and seasonably warm weather takes hold. This will be a great day to be out and about and it should feature an amazing evening. Look for highs in the upper 70s to around 80.
WEEKEND NEXT WEEK:
Partly cloudy and pleasant summer weather hangs around on Saturday… but a few spotty showers could pop-up during the daytime heating. Another round of storms is looking likely for Sunday and early Monday. Another round of strong storms could develop at some point late Sunday so it bears watching.
