A boil water advisory is in effect for residents in Langhorne Borough, according to the borough’s social media. Everyone living on Station Avenue between West Richardson and West Gillam avenues should not drink the water without boiling it first or should use only bottled water. For those living near the site, officials say you may see discolored water but you do not need to boil it. The advisory is being issued because a water main break was reported leading to concerns of contamination of disease-causing organisms, officials explained. Crews with the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority (BCWSA) are working to fix the water main break. Once the main is repaired then officials will begin testing the water. No word yet on how long the boil water advisory will be in place.
