Jun 16, 2026
A boil water advisory is in effect for residents in Langhorne Borough, according to the borough’s social media.
Everyone living on Station Avenue between West Richardson and West Gillam avenues should not drink the water without boiling it first or should use only bottled water.

This includes making ice, washing dishes, brushing your teeth or preparing food.
For those living near the site, officials say you may see discolored water but you do not need to boil it.
The advisory is being issued because a water main break was reported leading to concerns of contamination of disease-causing organisms, officials explained.
Crews with the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority (BCWSA) are working to fix the water main break. Once the main is repaired then officials will begin testing the water.
No word yet on how long the boil water advisory will be in place.
How to treat water under a boil water advisory
When under a boil water advisory, do not use water for anything unless it has been boiled first.
The steps include:
Bring water to a rolling boil
Let the water boil for one minute
Then, let the water cool
Failing to boil water properly could lead to health issues including nausea, cramps, diarrhea or headaches.
