(Courtesy of LTU Traffic Cam Network)LINCOLN–(KFOR June 16)– There were 15 deadly crashes on Nebraska roadways during May 2026, the Nebraska Department of Transportation said in release Tuesday to KFOR News. Those 15 deaths happened in 14 collisions, eight of the 11 vehicle occupants killed were not wearing seat belts, one was using a seat belt and two had seat belt usage marked as unknown.  NDOT says 13 of the fatality crashes were in rural locations.  Three of the fatalities were motorcyclists, while one was a pedestrian.
