COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department say they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at the 100 block of John Ammons Road in Eastover Tuesday afternoon. Just after 3:00 p.m., deputies located two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds at the l ocation. One of the individuals was pronounced dead on scene. The other individual was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
