Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed five bills into law during a press conference in Winter Haven on Tuesday morning.DeSantis signed Senate Bill 432-Intoxicating Substances, Senate Bill 1332-Career Offender Registration, House Bill 429-Criteria for Determining Criminal Gang Membership, Senate Bill 156- Criminal Offenses Against Law Enforcement Officers, and Senate Bill 436-Felony Battery during a press conference at the Winter Haven Police Department on June 16."These bills reinforce our commitment to making Florida the most law enforcement-friendly state in the unionand the worst state in which to commit crimes," said the governor in a post on X.
