Former Congressman Bob Brady was re-elected by ward leaders as the Chair of the Philadelphia Democratic Party on Monday night, NBC10’s Lauren Mayk has learned. Bradley faced some calls to step aside, including from Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, but he said he’s willing to wor k with all tents in the Democratic Party, including progressives. “I need to tell them that anything they need to call me, come and see me,” he said after Monday’s vote. “And they do, and they have.” Brady has been chair of the local party since 1986, and also served as the Representative for Philadelphia’s 1st Congressional District from 1998 to 2019.
