INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Rosie’s Place, a family-owned restaurant and bakery with locations in Noblesville, Carmel and Zionsville, is launching a monthly subscription service for its signature gooey but
ter cookies.
The new “Cookie Craving Club” will deliver cookies directly to customers beginning Aug. 1. Founding member subscriptions will be available throughout July and include discounted introductory pricing and early access to new flavor releases.
Founded 15 years ago by Debbi Bourgerie, Rosie’s Place has grown into a north-side Indianapolis favorite known for its brunch offerings and bakery items. Bourgerie said the gooey butter cookie was inspired by the traditional gooey butter cake popular in her hometown of St. Louis.
“We had to feature a gooey butter cake in our bakery, and it was a hit,” Bourgerie said. “As our lunch business grew, customers wanted something handheld they could take with them, and that’s how the gooey butter cookie was born.”
The cookies, available online through Rosie’s Place and Gooey Butter Cookies, feature a soft, cake-like texture and are offered in flavors including original, chocolate and peanut butter chocolate chip. Seasonal varieties, such as key lime, will also be featured.
Customers can purchase subscription plans ranging from three to 12 months, with options including a 12-cookie box and a smaller sample pack.
Rosie’s Place will host a private preview event June 17 in partnership with Chapter Book Lounge, pairing a summer-themed cookie flavor with a summer reading selection.
