STATESVILLE, N.C. — The N.C. Department of Transportation will replace a pipe on an Iredell County road this week. Crews will close part of Odell Road near Marcel Road beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday while they replace an aging pipe. The road is expected to reopen by 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Drivers wi ll follow a signed detour around the closure on U.S. 90, Lippard Farm Road and U.S. 64 to access Odell Road. Drivers should avoid distractions, remain alert and obey all posted signs.
