Nearly 1,800 graduates walked across the stage Saturday morning to earn their diploma. The keynote speaker was Dee Dee Myers, a former White House press secretary, consultant to the show “West Wing,” and a Santa Clara alum. Myers talked about how the trajectory of her life shifted at Santa Clara, when she changed her major from biology to politics.
