A pedestrian died Friday after being struck by a driver in East San Jose, according to police. The collision occurred at about 6:30 a.m. in the area of Glen Donegal Drive and Glen Ferguson Court, police said. Citing a preliminary investigation, police said a woman behind the wheel of a sedan w as heading eastbound on Glen Donegal Drive east of Glen Ferguson Court when she hit a woman who was crossing Glen Donegal Drive outside of any marked crosswalks. The woman who was hit died at the scene, police said. Her identity wasn’t immediately known. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities, according to police.
