Police arrested a man accused of entering the office of Pennsylvania State Rep. Kathleen “K.C.” Tomlinson and harassing and threatening two of her employees.
According to a criminal complaint, on Tuesday, June 9, around 11 a.m., Donald Ambrose, 65, entered Tomlinson’s office along the 240
0 block of Bristol Road in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Once inside, Ambrose began to complain about not receiving assistance with a medical malpractice issue, officials said.
Ambrose became increasingly aggressive, making threats and yelling at two office employees, police said.
Investigators said Ambrose went through the desks of one of the employees, scattering paperwork around the office while yelling and screaming. The second employee told Ambrose to leave and that they would call the police, officials said. Ambrose then pointed at the second employee and told him, “You’re dead,” according to the criminal complaint.
The employees said Ambrose then walked to his vehicle parked in the office parking lot, removed a gas can, and walked around the building before fleeing the scene.
Ambrose later went to the Bensalem Township Police Department on 2400 Byberry Road where he claimed he wanted to make a report and that he had just left Tomlinson’s office, officials said.
Ambrose was later arrested and charged with two counts of terroristic threats, two counts of disorderly conduct, and two counts of harassment. He is currently being held in Bucks County Jail, with his bail set at $200,000.
Ambrose’s preliminary hearing is set to take place on June 18, 2026, at 1:15 p.m. Online court records don’t list an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
Prior to Tuesday’s incident, Ambrose had been to Tomlinson’s office multiple times in the past, making outlandish statements before leaving each time, according to the criminal complaint.
Tomlinson (R., Pennsylvania), 37, represents the 18th District which covers a portion of Bucks County. She has held office since April 2020, when she replaced Representative Gene DiGirolamo (R., Pennsylvania) in a special election.
