(Photo courtesy of NDOT.)LINCOLN–(KFOR June 12)–An update provided by Lincoln Police about a deadly crash happened late Friday morning between a semi -truck and another vehicle at Highway 77 and Warlick Boulevard. The call came in to Lincoln 911 around 9:45am and a preliminary investigation determined the semi was driving north on Highway 77 through a green light when a southbound sedan turned left in front of the truck. The vehicles collided and both ended up in a ditch. Both vehicles had single occupants. The driver of the sedan, a woman, was taken to a Lincoln hospital where she died from her injuries. The driver of the semi was uninjured.   11:26am Friday report LINCOLN–(KFOR June 12)–Lincoln Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a vehicle and a semi-truck colliding around 9:45am Friday at U.S. Highway 77 and Warlick Boulevard. Scanner traffic initially indicated several people were taken to the hospital. No additional information is available.  As of 11am Friday, LPD encourages you to find an alternate route around the area, as their crash reconstruction team investigates and clears the scene.
