The School District of Philadelphia’s Class of 2026 saw growth in scholarships earned, college acceptances, and Career and Technology (CTE) certifications this year.  The School District announced Tuesday that the Class of 2026 earned nearly $450 million in scholarship offers across 7,600 students.  Its students received 6,000 college acceptances, nearly 300 to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and more than 100 to Ivy League universities.  Nearly 800 of the District’s students earned CTE certifications, and more than 200 graduates enlisted in the military.   Compared to the Class of 2025, the School District of Philadelphia saw total scholarships earned increase by $100 million, college acceptances increase by 600, and CTE certifications increase by 200.   “This year, the number of students on track to graduate increased by three percentage points, and this remarkable achievement reflects the talent, determination, and resilience of our students, as well as the unwavering support of their families, educators, counselors, and school communities,” said Superintendent Tony B.
