Emily Kreber What do you love about your career? I love truly understanding my clients’ needs and transforming them into spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Knowing the spaces I create will be where families gather, celebrate, and make lifelong memories excites me every day. What profe ssional or personal accomplishments are most meaningful to you? The most meaningful accomplishments aren’t tied to a single project, but to the relationships built along the way. When a client trusts me to design a space that supports their daily life and shares how much they love living in it—that’s everything. Being named to NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 Class of 2020 was an honor, but it reflects the work I love: helping families create spaces where memories are made. What are the personal values that drive you? My work is rooted in empathy and intention. I value understanding how my clients live so I can create spaces truly functional for them. The best compliment isn’t “it looks amazing”—it’s “it works so well for our life.” Who inspired you along the way and why? My parents are my biggest inspirations. My dad instilled grit and resilience—showing up, working hard, and standing behind what you do. My mom earned her master’s while working full time and raising children, showing me you truly can do anything you set your mind to.
