The FBI on Tuesday served three federal search warrants in the East Bay in connection with an ongoing investigation, the agency said. The FBI didn’t immediately speak to the exact nature of the investigation. The East Bay Times reported that the FBI activity was linked to an investigation into the outgoing and incoming Contra Costa County tax assessors. The search warrants were served at an office at 2530 Arnold Dr. in Martinez, a residence on Temple Drive in Pacheco and a residence on West Arlington Street in Martinez, the FBI said.
