COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Voters are heading to the polls today to cast their ballots in the South Carolina Primary, including the race for governor.
Polls opened at 7am and will remain open until 7pm.
The early voting period ended last Friday and it brought in record numbers.
The State election com
mission says more than 300,000 ballots were cast in the early voting period.
That more than doubles the 2024 total of over 120,000.
Voting for the primary is now open, polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
