The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance footage in the hopes of tracking down six men who, officials claim, burglarized a store in the city’s Germantown section over the past weekend. Officials shared surveillance video from the incident on social media on Tuesday. According to police, the footage comes from a surveillance camera on a business along the 5300 block of Germantown Avenue that was burglarized on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at about 11:50 a.m. At that time, officials said, six men were captured on camera after breaking into the business through a side door. Over the course of two hours, officials said, these individuals — initially two men, but later four additional men arrived at the scene — were seen coming and going from the business as they stole items from both a downstairs business and an apartment on the second floor. They were seen using two different white vans during this burglary, though, police said, both vehicles had Pa. tags that did not belong to either vehicle. Anyone who may have information about this incident or may recognize any of the men seen in the footage is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353 or 3354. Or contact the department’s Tip Line at 215-686-TIPS (8477). This story uses functionality that may not work in our app. Click here to open the story in your web browser. ...read more read less
