Ohio program helps preserve farmland for future generations

The Ohio Department of Agriculture's Farmland Preservation Program has added 1,100 acres of farmland to the program so far in 2026, allowing landowners to voluntarily place an agricultural easement on their property and receive compensation or tax benefits in return.
