Drivers in Sonoma County were advised to avoid southbound Highway 101 near Petaluma on Saturday afternoon after a vehicle collision caused all southbound lanes to be closed. Southbound traffic was being diverted off the highway following the collision, which involved two SUVs north of East Washin gton Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
