CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is recovering from injuries after a hazmat situation Friday morning in west Charlotte. It happened at Dystar Carolina Chemical along Wilkinson Boulevard. According to a Charlotte Fire official, the person got hurt while trying to decommission a sulfuric acid tank.
