Manhunt continues for two escaped NC inmates considered “extremely dangerous”

VANCE CO., N.C. – A North Carolina community is on high alert as the search for two missing Vance County inmates continues. Video show the moment right before Michael Miles and Lishawn Knott made their escape. Both were being held at the Vance County Detention Center on multiple state drug traf
ficking charges.
In a message posted on Facebook, Sheriff Curtis Brame talked about why more information about the men, who are considered armed and dangerous, is not being released. Brame says, “I know you want to hear about details about the manhunt. But we can’t talk about what we are doing. We don’t want Miles and Knott to hear what we know about their moves. We know that they planned their escape in advance, and they were picked up nearby. And they are being helped while they are on the run.”
A $40,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to their arrest
