An investigation is underway after a person died in a house fire in West Philadelphia Friday afternoon. The fire started at a two-story rowhome on the 300 block of North Edgewood Street at 12:18 p.m. Firefighters rescued a person from the roof and placed the flames under control at 12:47 p.m. The y also found a person who died inside the home.
