Witnesses at the scene of a collision on the Embarcadero say an altercation led to the driver of a Jeep intentionally running into a scooter rider who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Police say the crash, which happened around 1:08 pm Wednesday at Embarcadero and Broadwa y, is being investigated as a possible road rage incident, as KRON4 reports. A Reddit user who came upon the scene shortly after the collision reports that witnesses saw the scooter rider involved in an altercation with the Jeep driver moments before the Jeep allegedly followed the scooter rider into another lane and struck him. The Redditor says witnesses feared the driver was going to kill the rider, as the collision appeared intentional.
