The annual event begins June 20-21 and continues June 27-28, with participating homes open from 1-5 p.m. across neighborhoods in Orleans, Jefferson and Plaquemines parishes. Organizers said this year’s Parade will introduce a new ticketing system requiring attendees to register for free admission. Registered visitors will also be eligible to enter a raffle for New Orleans Saints tickets during the tour. The event highlights current residential construction and design trends while connecting prospective buyers and homeowners with local builders, lenders, designers and real estate professionals. Builders are also emphasizing safety features and adaptable spaces as buyer preferences continue evolving. “The Parade of Homes is a meaningful way for us to showcase the creativity, craftsmanship, and resilience of our local building community,” HBAGNO CEO Dan Mills said in a statement. “As we continue to navigate ongoing housing challenges, including insurance and affordability concerns, our builders, subcontractors, and vendors remain committed to delivering innovative homes while building strong communities.” Homes included in the tour are located in neighborhoods including River Ridge, Parks of Plaquemines, Bonnabel Place and Cottam Park in Metairie, English Turn and Audubon Park in New Orleans, and developments in Gretna, Westwego and Waggaman. Following the in-person tours, select homes will remain available through Matterport 3D virtual tours on the Parade of Homes mobile app and the organization’s website.
