Turns out, New York City is the most forgetful city once again, though Newark, New Jersey also ranked high on that list. While some items may not be particularly surprising to have lost in an Uber — Labubus, Crocs, pickleball paddles, hats, e-cigarettes, flowers — others certainly stood out for their originality. July 17 had the most lost items, while Sundays in general were the day of the week with the most lost items, Uber’s report states. To no one’s shock, days like St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween and New Year’s Eve were once again some of the most forgetful for riders. It’s almost like there’s something that happens on those days where things can slip people’s minds. In terms of time, more things were lost between 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. than any other time slot.
