May 29, 2026
Jazz in June returns to Norman’s Andrews Park June 18–20 with a lineup featuring Grammy-winning musicians, internationally recognized artists and free educational workshops throughout the festival weekend.
The longtime Oklahoma festival remains free to attend and will once again offer daily
daytime workshops at 2 p.m. hosted at Norman Public Library West and The Well, giving attendees a chance to learn directly from professional musicians and performers.
Saturday’s headliner is internationally acclaimed bassist Vincen Garcia, known for blending jazz and funk with high-energy performances that have earned millions of online views and a massive streaming audience worldwide.
Friday night features the Mike Stern Band, led by legendary jazz guitarist Mike Stern, whose career has included collaborations with Miles Davis, Blood, Sweat Tears, Jaco Pastorius, David Sanborn and Joe Henderson.
Opening night on Thursday will spotlight Satin Soul, an Oklahoma-based funk and neo-soul collective fronted by Lacy Saunders and Rod Porter and led by musical director Kendrik McKinney. The group is known for dance-heavy live sets featuring deep-cut funk, RB and soul influences.
Additional featured performers include jazz trumpeter Summer Camargo, who became the youngest member of the Saturday Night Live house band at age 20 and was recently named one of DownBeat magazine’s “25 for the Future” rising jazz artists.
Five-time Grammy-winning guitarist Mark Lettieri and multi-instrumentalist Chris Bullock, both known for their work with Snarky Puppy, are also scheduled to perform during the festival weekend.
Miami-based trio Fat Produce will bring a blend of soul-jazz, funk and hip-hop influences, while the Summer Jazz Collective will showcase a collaborative performance featuring emerging jazz talent on Saturday night.
Festival organizers say Jazz in June continues its mission of making world-class music accessible while creating a welcoming atmosphere for longtime jazz fans and newcomers alike.
Jazz in June takes place June 18–20 at Andrews Park in Norman. Admission is free.
