UPDATE: Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner will reveal more details on the murder of Vincent Good and the arrests of four suspects during a press conference Thursday afternoon. Three women and a man were arrested in connec tion to the murder of a man whose remains were found in a suitcase and trash bags in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood. On Friday, May 22, around 9:25 a.m., a person who was searching for scrap metal along the 600 block of East Hilton Street found a human upper torso inside a suitcase. Police responded to the scene and found more human remains in the early stages of decomposition inside two large trash bags. Responding medics pronounced the victim dead at 9:28 a.m. “When I opened the door to go do the cleanup we normally do, the police told me to go back inside so that’s when I discovered it,” Howard James, a neighbor, told NBC10. “All I saw was a suitcase. There was an odor.” The Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as 53-year-old Vincent Good of Philadelphia. Another neighbor, who wanted to remain anonymous, told NBC10 they heard gunshots at some point last week. “I think I heard three or four shots. That’s all I heard and then it stopped but there wasn’t police or anything,” the neighbor said. “No police or nothing.” Jim Gutierrez, another neighbor, told NBC10 Good was in a wheelchair and required assistance to get around. “I’m shocked. There are no words to explain how I feel right now. I used to push him up the hill. I’m telling you,” Gutierrez said. On Thursday, May 28, police announced that a 53-year-old woman, 55-year-old woman, 32-year-old woman and 33-year-old man were all arrested in connection to Good’s murder. The 53-year-old woman is charged with murder and other related offenses while the 55-year-old woman is charged with abuse of a corpse and other related offenses. Charges are pending against the 32-year-old woman and the 33-year-old man. Police have not yet revealed the identities of the four suspects. Gutierrez told NBC10 a woman was constantly with Good and provided him care. “She would take care of him,” Gutierrez said. “She was always there, pushing him, taking him places, taking care of them, but they were arguing all the time.” Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner will reveal more details on Good’s murder during a press conference on Thursday at 3 p.m. You can watch it live in the video embedded on top of this article.
