We’re seeing big changes at ATT Stadium in Arlington in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which starts Thursday, June 11. The name of the famous stadium is changing from ATT Stadium to Dallas Stadium. Work has been underway inside the stadium for weeks. FIFA requires participating sta diums to remove pre-existing branding during the World Cup since it does not allow venues with corporate-sponsored names or logos. As a result, stadiums use generic city or regional names when hosting World Cup games. Last month, MetLife Stadium was renamed New York-New Jersey Stadium. NBC 4 New York flew over the stadium and saw the new signs going up. SOFI in Los Angeles was renamed Los Angeles Stadium.
