Police in Philadelphia are searching for a man accused of an assault in Center City on Tuesday morning, according to authorities. The assault happened around 9:26 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26 near the intersection of South 8th and Ranstead streets in Center City, Philadelphia Deputy Commissioner Fran k Vanore. A man, 66, was approached by the suspect and the two had a quick interaction, police said. During their interaction, the victim reported feeling what felt like a punch or a stab to his left arm but didn’t know what happened, police reported. A bystander told the victim that he was bleeding as he walked away, officials explained. The victim walked to a nearby hospital where he was treated for a cut, according to police.
