A 31-year-old classroom aide at a San Jose high school was arrested and booked into jail last week for allegedly sending harmful materials to a minor and for annoying or molesting a minor, police announced Wednesday. Police said Heriberto Plascencia, a classroom aide at Branham High School and Sa n Jose resident, allegedly was sharing inappropriate messaging and conversations with a juvenile female student at the school. As authorities continued to investigate, a second juvenile, also a female, came forward and reported being victimized by Plascencia, police said. After obtaining arrest and search warrants, detectives located and arrested Plascencia in San Jose last Thursday, according to police. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail. Citing Plascencia’s position of trust, detectives believe there may be additional victims.
