ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Orangeburg County Fire District says a section of Highway 178 is closed due to flooding Tuesday night. According to officials, North Rd. (US Hwy. 178) at Nance’s Pond between Waters Ferry Rd. and Hwy. 692 (Redmond Mill Rd.) is shut down, with no time frame on r e-opening. Firefighters also said they were working a wreck in that area.
