CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say a death investigation just outside Uptown Charlotte is now considered a homicide. The victim’s body was found Friday night around 6:45 on North Poplar Street, near West 12th Street. Their name has not been released and there’s also no word on any suspects.
