4 injured in early morning Memorial Day shooting at party in Olney, police say

Four people, including a child, were hospitalized early Monday, officials said, after gunfire erupted at a party outside a home in Philly’s Olney section overnight.
According to Philadelphia Police Capt. Louis Higginson, the incident happened just after midnight in the alley behind a home alon
g the 500 block of Marwood Road in Olney.
At that time, he said, police believe a shooting began after an argument at a party in a garage and alleyway.
When the gunfire began, Higginson said, an off-duty officer heard the shots and ran to the scene, but they were unable to catch the suspected shooters.
During the incident three men and one boy were injured, Higginson said.

All four have been hospitalized and, he said, they were all listed in stable condition on Monday morning.
At the scene, he said, police detained one juvenile who was found with a firearm. One of the victims in the shooting was also detained by police as, Higginson told NBC10, video of the incident appeared to show his involvement in the shooting.
No one inside the home, he said, was injured.
Police are still seeking suspects who fled the scene and Higginson said, an investigation is ongoing.
