A man is dead after an argument led to a gunfight on Friday evening, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Léelo en español aquí The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. on May 22 on the 1700 block of North 31st Street in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of the city, Philadelp hia police Inspector D.F. Pace told NBC10. Officers were called to the scene and found a 49-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body, Inspector Pace explained. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead around 7:26 p.m. Pace said that city-owned surveillance cameras captured the entire incident and investigators believe the man got into an argument with another man who was seen wearing a jacket and black chef’s apron. The shooting occurred between these two men, Pace said. Detectives found drug paraphernalia, a gun and a cell phone that they believe belonged to the man who died, according to Pace. A white Alfa Romeo sedan is parked at the scene and police said they think the victim was inside the car before the incident happened. No motive has been revealed yet but officials said there is no danger to the community.
