A 42-year-old man was taken to a hospital Thursday after his 16-year-old son stabbed him in the arm in North Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Police said on May 21, 2026, at approximately 10:38 p.m., officers responded to reports of a domestic stabbing on the 2000 bl ock of North 6th Street. According to police, the 42-year-old victim told officers that a verbal argument over a charger escalated into his son stabbing him in the arm. Police then transported the father to Temple University Hospital, who was listed in stable condition.
