(CNN)– Stellantis is responding to economic conditions in the U.S. by launching more cheap vehicles. The automaker outlined a $70-billion investment plan Thursday, May 21. Stellantis will continue focusing on Jeep and Ram in the U.S. but Chrysler is getting three new compact SUV’s. At least o ne of them will retail for under $30,000. Of the 11 all new vehicles the company plans to introduce, seven will cost less than $40,000.
