YORK CO., S.C. – The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who drowned in Lake Wylie Monday night. They say 25-year-old Daniel Moncion of Charlotte jumped off a boat into the water around 8:30 Tuesday night and did not resurface. Dive teams have recovered Moncion’s body Tuesda y morning. It happened near Tega Cay, close to the Catawba Dam. Autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
