While housing, grocery and gasoline prices continue to climb across the Bay Area, one major expense is dropping ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup: soccer tickets. Prices for tickets to the six World Cup matches scheduled next month at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara have fallen about 24% over the past month on the secondary market, according to TicketData, a company that tracks ticket sales. Industry analysts said the lower prices are likely tied to the matchups scheduled for the Bay Area. “I think a lot of it, of course, has to do with the matchups,” said Keith Pagello, founder of TicketData.
