GASTON CO., N.C. – A GoFundMe page has been set up to collect donations for the family of a local baseball coach who died suddenly before a game. According to Stuart W. Cramer High in Gaston County, the school’s assistant varsity baseball coach, Casey McMillen, passed away on Friday. McMillen is described as “a mentor, a leader, a devoted husband, and a loving father whose impact reached far beyond the field.” He leaves behind his wife, who is pregnant with their third child, as well as their son and daughter.
