A man wanted for 118 counts of child sexual assault and incest was arrested in Darby, Delaware County, on Monday, the U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia said in a social media post. Federal officials took into custody Lawrence Downing, 44, who has been accused of having a sexual relationship wit h his daughter that lasted for six years, the U.S. Marshals said. The charges were filed by the Charles Town Police Department in Jefferson County, West Virginia, officials said. The U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia said they took Downing into custody at the 600 block of Pine St in Darby, but for how long he was in our region was unclear.
