A man believed to be in his seventies was hospitalized early Monday, officials said, after he was pulled from a burning rowhome in North Philadelphia. According to fire officials, the incident happened after a fire was reported at a rowhome along the 3200 block of Dover Street in North Philadelp hia at about 1:50 a.m. on Monday. Contacted Monday morning, officials said, first responders encountered heavy fire at the property upon arrival. A man believed to be in his seventies was pulled from the fire and taken to a nearby hospital, but, officials said, his condition was not immediately known. As of about 8:30 a.m., officials did not detail what may have started the fire, nor did they have any additional information on the status of the victim in this incident.
