A special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 6:17 a.m. until 9 a.m. for Jefferson County."Patchy areas of dense fog will be possible close to the Lake Ontario shore northeastward along the Saint Lawrence River through mid morning. The worst of the fog should remain just west of the City of Watertown.
