Controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular and a man known on social media as “Cuban Tarzan” have avoided jail time in a case involving the apparent shooting of an alligator. Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, and Andrew Morales, also known as “Cuban Tarzan,” p leaded no contest Friday to charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm in public. Both were given six months of probation and must perform 20 hours of community service. They must also take Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission firearm safety courses. If they violate their probation they could face jail time. The shooting happened at the Francis S. Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area boat ramp dock on or about March 26, according to court records. Video posted on social media showed people on an airboat who appeared to be shooting at an alligator, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials said. Peters’ attorney previously said no animals were harmed, and that he was following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide. The 20-year-old Clavicular is known online for “looksmaxxing,” the belief that appearance can be deliberately optimized through fitness, grooming and style. The influencer has been known to take this to the extreme, with “bone smashing,” or using a hammer to intentionally break facial bones so they grow back stronger or looking better. Clavicular was arrested in Fort Lauderdale in March on battery charges out of Florida for allegedly instigating a fight between two women and posting it on social media. A 19-year-old woman said she was battered by a 24-year-old woman at a house rented by influencer. Last month, he was hospitalized after a suspected overdose in Miami, a representative said. He’s also being sued in Miami-Dade by a teen influencer who’s accusing him of battery.
